The longevity of these relationships has allowed us to establish working relationships that foster growth and promote the evolution of our company to address changing market needs.

Mr.CV Subba Rao Chairman and founder of Robo Silicon Pvt Ltd had a vision that combined sound business sense and eye on the future.

While the ecological cost and the enormous environmental damage caused by indiscriminate dredging of river sand was well known and documented, Subba Rao recognized that the future of this critical building material lay in crushing of granite rock to manufacture and produce high quality sand and aggregates for the ready mix concrete and construction industry. With this vision, pioneering the concept of manufactured sand in India as a superior substitute for the fast depleting River Sand,Robo Silicon was founded in the year 1999 and has since grown in strength to be recognized as a market leader and a premier company.

Subba Rao believes that constant innovation is the key to creating economic value and has a history of promoting new and innovative concepts. He started in 1990 with Robo Engineers, a franchisee of MRF Limited dealing in poly-urethane paints – which was a new concept in India at that time. In 1999 he promoted Roshni PowertechLtd. - a 6 MW Biomass Based Power Project to produce Green Power (Non-Conventional Energy) by utilizing agricultural residue & waste. This project continues to run successfully.


Mr. Ravi Kanth

Mr. Ravikanth, Mechanical Engineer hailing from Tanuku, West Godavari District. He started his career in 1987 as a Trainee Engineer with his family owned business group, M/s.Gowthami Solvent Oils Limited, which pioneered solvent extraction and its derivatives.  He was in charge of the solvent extraction plant, chemical refinery, effluent treatment plant, biomass power plant.  He has designed and developed fuel handling system, ash handling system and total integrated software solution for solvent extraction. In the year 2000, Mr. Ravikanth promoted Gowthami Bio-Energies Limited, a 6 MW Biomass based power generation plant at Khammam District in the State of Andhra Pradesh and has successfully achieved a plant load factor of 85%.  Subsequently Mr. Ravikanth has promoted M/s.Gowthami Hydro Electric Company Private Limited, producing Hydro Power. Mr. Ravikanth is a constant innovator and has a keen eye for detail.
